Testimonial:

“When faced with the requirement to come into compliance with maritime security regulations it became apparent that we needed a professional to guide us through this process. After an extensive search we decided to employ the services of Mr. Kevin Gilheany/Maritime Compliance International, LLC. We couldn’t have made a better choice. His professionalism and extensive experience and knowledge were key in getting our personnel trained in a timely manner with minimal impact on our operations. His expertise was also evident throughout the drafting/submission process of our Vessel and Facility Security Plans. Our Vessel Security Plan was approved within one day of being received at the Department of Homeland Security, USCG Marine Safety Center. I have never felt more confident recommending any individual/company than I do with Kevin and Maritime Compliance International.”

International Port Security Program Audits and Assessments

The U.S. Coast Guard’s International Port Security Program assesses the implementation of the ISPS Code overseas. If a country if found to not be fully implementing ISPS based upon the USCG visits to foreign ports and port facilities, certain time consuming and costly actions can be required of vessels arriving in the U.S. which have visited those foreign countries. In accordance with the IPS program guidance, you may be able to prevent significant financial difficulties and potential loss of business by having Maritime Compliance International conduct an ISPS code annual audit and security assessment of your port facility to ensure compliance. By working with foreign governments and the U.S. Coast Guard’s International Port Security Program, those audits and assessments conducted may be used to exempt vessels arriving in the U.S. from your particular facility in the instance where that host country was found to be not substantially implementing ISPS code.

Common Marine Inspection Document (CMID) Audit
Not all companies are willing to share CMID audits, and as a result, CMID audits of the same vessel are conducted many times over, for different interests, at great expense to owners and operators. Have you own CMID audit conducted by Maritime Compliance International, so you will have it to pass on to clients upon request.
